2. The secondary decoder(s) need to be paired with the primary (the main account holding subscription) You can be do this by contacting MultiChoice or through self-service options like the DStv website or mobile app.
3. Installation: The decoders should be connected to the satellite dish using a DStv Smart LNB or multiswitch , which allows them to receive the satellite signal. You may need the assistance of an accredited DStv installer to set up the installation correctly.
On completion of the setup , the primary decoder to control the channels and contents that are viewed on the secondary decoder(s). However, each decoder can also operate independently, allowing different channels to be viewed simultaneously on separate TVs.
If you are using the latest decoders (Explora 1, 2, or 3 and HD decoders 5s, 6s or higher models) then, you can either use a smart LNB or a smart switch or a combination of Dual LNB and Diplexers for your extra view set up.
